Yesterday, we started talking about integers and absolute values. These will be important to know, as we progress on to more complex expressions.
The homework for periods 1 and 2 was to copy and find definitions for the 9 vocab words on page 104.
For periods 5 and 6: p. 107-109 # 24-26, 30-38, 43-46, 49-54, 70-73
Today, we discussed adding integers using a number line. This is a process that requires students to move left or right over a basic number line (with zero at the center), depending on the sign of the number being added (positive or negative).

Periods 5 and 6 hw: p.112-113 #18-32
